Whew..."deeply challenging" is putting it mildly. I need to hear things like that regularly. I'm going to have to share that with some of my friends. Thanks.

Having the courage of our convictions, it is not easy at times, but it is what we are called to do.

Wow! Thanks, I'll be passing this one on.

"deeply challenging" is, I guess, the best thing I could come up with besides "ripping your heart out and handing it to you on a platter". That one line, "How much do you have to hate someone..." I'm not sure I'll ever get it out of my head. I hope not. It makes me realize how far I am from genuine love at times, how often I've been ruled by cowardice or apathy.

Wow. Thanks, Laurie, this was a gem. Ripping your heart out--exactly my sentiments.

Jeri,
Tis the season to have little time to send e-mails. Blessings to you and your family this Christmas - and e-mails when all the cookies that need baking have been baked.
